Speakers for Cyrus System...?

I have a Cyrus CD 8 se and 8 vs 2 amp, can anyone reccommend some speakers I should try and demo?

Depends on your budget,preference and room size, obviously - but i'd try and get a listen to the new Spendor 'A' series.

I have done a bit of research on this and looks like the following should be on your demo list:

PMC FB1i / Spendor SA5 / Rega R5/R7 / Dynaudio something or other.

It will probably be a pain in the ass finding a Cyrus dealer who supplies all of these to set up an audition but good luck!ÿ

Spendor. The SA1, maybe with a sub if you want some fast and superb stand mounters. The A5 or A6 if you want a floorstander. I reckon the A6s are going to be very good but the A5 will probably suit that amp more.

If you don't want the natural and clean sound of the Spendors, try the PMC FB1 as pointed out above. I think it will sound slightly leaner and probably a little brighter (but not necessarily bright).

Personally, I'd recommend the Monitor Audio GS20. Truly awesome and enough pace to deliver all of your Cyrus goodness!

If you can find a dealer near you who stocks them,try the ATC SCM11's.
