Speakers for Audiolab 8200CDQ & 8200P ???

I have arranged an audition of the Audiolab 8200CDQ and 8200P power amp and am after ideas for speakers to try with them.

Although my listening room is large (5x7m) I must mount them on moveable wall brackets so it's standmounts only for me, upto a grand.

All advice gratefully received.

Kef R 300,Focal Aria 906,Elac BS192,MA Silver 2,B&W 685S2,Sonus Faber Venere 1.5 would give you a broad impression at the demo.Then you have to try your favoured ones at home as a lot depends on room acoustics and the place of the speakers.

ATC's SCM11s are worth a listen. They're a sealed box design and have well controlled bass, so could work close to a wall.

Thank you both for your ideas.

The ATC, Kef, M.A. and B&W's are known to me and on the short list, I will do some research on the others.

I've also looked at the B&W CM5's, is the price difference over the 685 S2's justified and would they make more of the CD/amp's potential??
