speakers for £500

hi i have a marantz pm7200 amp and £500 to spend on speakers what would you guys recommend

perfer floor standing and like my bass

At the moment i will suggest Monitor Audio's new Bronze BX5's @ RRP £500 or possibily even their predecessors the BR5's.

Btw, what other components do you use?

at the min only marantz cd player cc4300

and play music from laptop ive had a pair of tonnoy dc2s for 6 years served me well untill going away for weekend and getting back to them sounding dull kids gave them a hammering
