he want hifi spakers and don't wenat to mount them above the monitors angled down

If you have heard the whole video you would have heard deep punchy bass
Hence me thinking about subwoofers. All he's going to end up with by squeezing larger speakers in where the Wharfedales are is a boomy mess, and getting the subwoofer set up right is a far better solution.

NOT if the amp has high pass filter and mabye not if he uses Dirac Live Bass Control

The sub can be adjusted on the phone

The M10 does have high/low pass in its current configuration . I asked NAD tech support about cross-over functionality and this was their response:

" The M10's crossover sends low pass (LPF) audio to the connected subwoofer and high pass (HPF) audio to the speakers via the BluOS App settings. The crossover can be set from 40Hz ~ 200Hz. "

On the wall

Dali OPTICON LCR MK2 & OBERON ON-WALL

System Audio Signature 6

On wall speakers might be better and move the pc away from the table
At this moment my speakers are almost 6 inch from the wall and sitting on accoustic pucks. You can not see this on the video. Maybe i need to put a isolation panel on the wall?

Sorry if this has already been addressed, what are you looking to achieve with the upgrade?
I just want to go from a speaker with a 5" woofer to a 6" or 6,5" woofer but with same cabinet dimensions. The speakers must be an upgrade from the Wharefedales.

So far i did find these:
  • Fyne Audio F301i
  • Focal Vestia 1
  • Revel M16
  • Ascend Acoustics SIERRA-LX PAIR
  • Ascend Acoustics Sierra-1 V2
  • Neat Petite Classic

Yes but what do you want to achieve?

Do you want a different sound?

And what do you mean by upgrade, is the something about the Wharfedales you want to move away from?

Hello,

I would like to upgrade my wharefedale Diamond 2.1 speakers.
Can you guys recommend some good speakers for me but the depth of the speakers can not be more then 11 inch because of my dekstop setup. Also a speaker with a 6" woofer would be nice upgrade.

Here is my small list for now:
  • Ascend Acoustics SIERRA-LX PAIR
  • Revel M16
  • Focal Vestia 1
  • Neat Petite Classic ( So expensive! )
Current music system: PC -> S/PDIF -> NAD M10 V3 -> Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 -> SVS SB-1000 PRO
Thanks.

Edit: Added a video of my desk setup.

Your present setup/speakers sound very nice to me (I own the Diamond 225s), and that's coming only through my Bose Revolve II Bluetooth which is the only speaker I have set up full-time under my monitor to now fully meet my modest desktop sound needs and tastes. I also connected through my Sony 7506s and it sounds about as nice though less spacious throughout and less "boomy" starting at 0:52. Like your system and your post, and good luck meeting your next upgrade like.

I am not selling my wharfedale speakers i just want another set of bookshelf speakers with a smaller cabinet and with a 6" woofer.
  • Ruark Sabre-R Bookshelf - 800€ - 2-way 6" - D 8,5" x W 6,9"
  • Totem LOON Monitor - 1600€ - 2-way 5,75" - D 8,4" x W 6"
The Evoke 10 is also a fun speaker but the cabinet is as big like the wharfedale's.
  • Dynaudio Evoke 10 - 1500 - 2-way 5,5" - D 10 4/8 x W 7 1/8

The Fyne Audio F301i has bad measurements on ASR so i removed them from the list.

I missed the part about wanting a smaller cabinet. That makes sense if you are comprised for space.

The positioning is so compromised I wouldn't get too hung up on specs and reviews. You are going to be miles from peak perform of any half decent speaker.

No ideal if the Fyne Audio F301i is any good or not, but wouldn't too much into measurements on ASR.

What are you hoping to get from the 6" woofer?

Going back to previous comments, I still think you should either go with the cheapest option, or a speaker designed for a. Compromised position like the Epos ES-7N.

I am not familiar with them. Just looked them up, if the manufacturers info is correct they seem to fit your requirements. The appear to be an inch deeper than your original spec, but I'm sure you can make that work.

Do you have an option to audition them?

Yeah for 1600€ i would like to hear them first :)
The depth and width is very small for a 2-way 5,75" speaker

The Dali Oberon 1's may only have 5.25" woofers (why do you need anything bigger, you have the SVS :)) but they give such beautiful rich tonal sound and these boxes are under 11" Only just :)

Price wise, the cheapest I've seen is on the AV, which is odd they're usually more expensive. Also check Peter Tyson and Richer Sound for price comparison. AV only has one in stock @ £329.00 normally retail for £349

See link below:

Also consider current love child of the most recent hifi reviews the ELAC Debut 3.0 B5.3 Bookshelf. these normally retail for £299. Also under 11". The older B5.2 are going for £229.

Out of curiosity I noticed you have SMSL DAC nicely tucked inside your open draw, is it connected?
