Some advice please. For some electrical connections where signal integrity is important, some people advise that silicone gel should be applied to the cabling to prevent oxidisation and a deterioration in the connection. I've never considered this previously with speaker connections even though the exposed copper begins to discolour quite quickly. Any thoughts?
