Speaker stand spikes

In process of upgrading speakers from Spendor S5e to ATC SCM19 and going to stands again, However my floors are stone flags, therefore spikes will only sit on instead of penetrating therefore is essential to use spikes opinions please

You're best to use spikes and either spike shoes like the ones Atacama do or you can just use coins under them. This prevents any damage to your floor.

If you have stone floors I personally don't see the need for spikes! Just the base of the stand will give a more sturdy support.
