Speaker stand filler

What do people use? I've looked at the Altacama product but it would cost me around 60% of the cost of the stands to fill them so looking for something cheaper. Maybe kiln dried paving sand? It's for Altacama Moseco 7. Cheers

Good Morning. I've known folks to use gravel, sharp sand and small metal ball bearings - it's not really lead shot perse, essentially just tiny metal balls - a word of caution though, if the bag splits or you spill any during installation it is a pain to clear up.
 
For those that cant find fire sand, Chinchilla sand is really good also, its proper fine so best to do it outside away from electronics
