I cant use banana plugs so i wonder do i just use the open wire to rap round the - + on the amp and speakers and tighten or is they any sort of plugs that i should be using ?

Yes, that's exactly how you do it and is probably the best connection anyway.
A note of caution: Make sure that the equipment is switched off before wiring begins and be especially careful to ensure that none of the strands of wire at each terminal contacts the opposite connection.

Banana plugs are cheap and very practical, I'd always advise getting them if your seperates can facilitate them. As Overdose pointed out, stray strands can be troublesome. Especially if they touch the amps metal backplate.

The OPs opening sentence was "I can't use banana plugs..."
🙂

You can use spades.

If you're going bare wire, you'll probably find the binding posts have holes in them so you don't need to wind the cable around them.

Undo them all the way, poke the wire through the hole then tighten, making sure there aren't any stray wires.
