Hi, just brought QED micro silver for two rears and two fronts. And was advised from RS to use QED anniversary xt for the center speaker (yamaha RXV667 and KEF 2005.3 K2 system) Any thought on this. Ive brought the cables already!

The front three are important, the back two not so much (as its mostly fx and ambience) I have Chord rumour for the fronts and was advised by Chord to go for Leyline (rumour is £10 ish per meter vs £2.50 per meter for leyline) as it was quite a long run.

What I mean to say is, its fine to use cheaper stuff for the back and reserve the good stuff for the short runs at the front :)

Spot on - the front three channels are the most important - we always recommend getting the same cable for the main L/R front speakers and the front centre speaker. As rear speakers carry the effects, you can get away with a "lesser" cable - ideally from the same range though, so your recommendation should be fine.

Quite agree. I have silver anniversary XT to the front and micro to the rear. Saved me a fortune
