They indeed do it was a break within tannoys staff that created the fyne brand.
Ive never heard the tannoy 637 but they sport the bigger drivers that have now been (mostly) replaced with smaller ones that to me never quite replicate the deep rich bass a bigger driver is known for.
One looks like a dual concentric driver which Fyne carried over to their Isoflare when they split.
(Tannoy was all but absorbed into the chinese manufacturing etc before the lead tannoy designers and team had enough amid quality concerns etc and abandoned them.
Tannoy including the former director of engineering, the manager of technical design and the factory manager along wth senior sales staff came together to form Fyne Audio)

Mostly it was said that (the real original tannoy) were saying it's a demolition of their heritage and design qualities and brand as a whole that caused the split after they were bought out.
It's one of the reasons I was attracted to them.
Yet once I heard them I wasn't really bothered by who made them just the sound that they produced.
However I had in the 90s the tannoy M15 and loved them until the titanium tweeter was pushed in then disintegrated.
It's a fate that befell a lot of them, reminiscing I looked at a pair online and they too have had the tweeters pushed in, probably a kid as was I when I pushed mine in.
(They were shiny and I remember being fascinated by what they were made of at around 14 😂)
I don't think speakers have improved much having been through so many.
They have gotten smaller and brighter and I'm not too sure that's an improvement over the older big lively box designs of yesteryears speakers with the sound I hankered after.
I had to revisit big cabinet designs again in the behemoth fyne f502s to get back to that.
To me hifi is an artform so I like the look of big speakers despite tripping over them they are like big ornaments 😊
As mentioned it took ages and a few different speakers to get back to the meaty musical presentation of the much older mission 763i.
(I like music thrown at me rather than just flowing out)
I like the QA3050i which have that big "older type sound" if picking descriptive wording.
They are known for their large soundstage as a room filler.
I couldn't get on with the equivalent Dalis I'd had prior although a quality speaker I just didn't like their sound.
There predecessor the 3050 without the "I" go reasonably priced second hand which also did very well.
I've been through quite a lot via demos and box shifting whilst updating mostly for streaming an old hifi only to end up replacing it all, thus moving the complete older set into another room.
My experience is that it took quite a considerable jump in budget to improve on a 30 plus yr old clean sweep of budget award winners including the pioneer a400 which still reminds me nothings gotten better with the budget equivalents.
Infact I couldn't better it without paying much more.
Only connectivity has become more convenient yet going sonically backwards with Bluetooth and most streaming platforms especially the most popular Spotify.
I still, as with the recent poll on this forum find CD the best quality despite having a good streamer etc and music formats boasting superman quality.
I'd demo a few shortlisted speakers at perhaps richer sounds. I find them very accommodating in a very unobtrusive way.
If you find nothing immediately better then maybe the sound of your existing tannoys is where you want to be as it's been my experience that newer isn't better despite the claims of this and that.
I looked on the hifi database and the 637 is a well respected model.
