Souround sound back speakers are extreamly low.

I have recently bought myself a Onkyo TX-SR505E with centre & rear KEF HTS 2001 av souround sound satellite speakers. I also have my PS3 hooked up to it as well, but the sound I get from the two rear KEF satellite speakers is exstreamly low, I have selected all the sound output settings on the PS3 as my av amp can handle all of them & have also got them hooked up to the correct speaker ports (surroundsound back L&R) but still no good. Can somebody help me on this one?

Sounds like you have the speakers connected to the wrong terminals mate, if you have a5.1 speaker set up you don't use the surround 'back' speaker points.

Exactly - in a 5.1 set-up, you use the surround L/R speaker outputs, not the surround back L/R
