Looking at getting a soundbar for home tv & films viewing. Budget is about €500, I'm in Ireland.
I'm not an audiophile, would like a good audio experience.
Can get a deal on a Sonos Beam (gen 1), wouldn't buy aSonos subwoofer as they're crazily expensive.
I have a 1 Sonos 1 gen 2, plan to buy a 2nd but they're for the kitchen. Could bring them in when watching a film but probably wouldn't move them daily.
Other option would be soundbar & subwoofer and rear wireless speakers, something like the Sony ht-s40r or just a soundbar & subwoofer (POLK AUDIO MagniFi MAX SR, Polk SIGNA S4, SONY HT-G700 or similar).
Which would you recommend please & why?
