Sound level Meter

Ive just picked up a Mini Sound level Meter from Malpins to see if i can fine tune my surround system.I have used auto set up but have found speaker distance (too far) and level (too low).Problum is i have not a clue as how to use it,would be very grateful for any feedback thanks.

There is a video on the main WHF site that tells you how to calibrate using an SPL meter. There are loads of guides on the web, just google them.
