Alsina made a good comment about the Sony W4500 and COMET. I have only checked this on the money saving expert website and not with COMET themselves. But it appears that COMET do a 7 day refund if you are not satisfied with your order, should you have ordered it by PHONE or ONLINE.
You just have to call and record your intention with that customer help line within 7 days. Then you take it back to any local store.
This is probably the safest way to get a 40/46W4500 right now, as its a gauranteed full refund. It onl seems to apply online and via phone order though. The rest of us are still pretty screwed! ;(
