After your reviews of the Sony KDL-26V4500 and the Panasonic TX-26LXD80, I'm a bit undecided bewteen the two. From an SD perspective, you seem to place the Sony ahead of the Panasonic. Is that, in fact, the case?
I'm ready to go out and buy one of them.

Hi there,

I had an olsd Pani 26" TX-26LXD600 which i recently replaced for a sony 40" - and i must say my old Pani was amazing - expesically in the sound department - it really sounded like a hi-fi!! :)

If it was me and the Pani still had the same sound spec than the old one - i would go for the Pani - they seem to be very close to each other and i would test run them in the shop with sound as well..

Good luck.

If you can stretch the 40W4500 is a good step up from the 4000 in all round performance.

In response to the overall Sony Vs Panasonic debate, as a Sony retailer I have to say that both make excellent televisions. The current Sony range is superb and has come on significantly from the standards of about 12 months ago. The 26V4500 is a fantastic 26" set and would serve the whole range of possible uses very well.
