Sony STR-DN1000 vs Sony STR-DA2400ES

I can get both of these amps for the same price (around £250 delivered) could anyone shed any light on which is the best to go for and which is technically the better receiver?

From what I can tell they are very similar. It seems to me to be a case of bling vs ES build quality....???

Any advice would be very helpful.

If you mean the Sony STR-DA2400ES rather than Sony DTR-DA2400ES, then my money would be on that one......

DN1000 is a lovely looking amp, but the 2400 is all round better quality, and no ugly duckling either.
