Sony STR-DH810 or Onkyo TX-NR608????

Hello, I'm slowly building a surround sound system and looking for AV Receiver to go with 5 Cambridge Audio Speakers (3 x Min20, 2 x Min10 & X200 sub). I've been told that the CA speakers can be a bit bright so a more balanced Receiver would suit them. Also now that the Onkyo TXNR609 is out should I save more and consider that? I don't desperately need network connection but is it a vast improvement on the 608? Any advice is very welcome Thanks Stuart
