Does anyone know if this sony amp supports linear multichannel lpcm over hdmi? I have recently ordered one assuming that i could get dts hd and dolby true hd sound from my blu-rays[using a playstation 3 ]!

Yes.

The PS3 decodes the Dolby/DTS HD soundtracks, and outputs them as multichannel Linear PCM.
