Hi all. New here and haven't posted before so apologies if I'm unfamiliar with the terminology etc. I'm really looking for any feedback on what a pair of Sony SS-AL5 MK2 speakers might be worth and where to sell them - they're new in their original box and have been hiding in a loft for the past 25 or so years. I can't believe how heavy they are. Anyway, any comments or suggestions appreciated. Many thanks. Glenn.

Hard to put an accurate valuation on them, but the internet site "Catawiki " indicates a Mk2 pair sold in march 2024 for €637 in an auction.
I hope someone can shed a little more light on the value of these speakers, they seem to be made in Italy and are probably great quality.

Check eBay for sold prices. There was one that ended at $825 but don't know if they were actually sold.
Probably the best place to find out.....
Google is your friend but don't expect me to do the work for you.... 🙂
Welcome to the forum by the way.
If they have been in the loft for that long you really need to check their condition as things perish over that sort of time (24 years minimum)
EDIT: and they aren't technically new! Unused perhaps, and that could be an issue.

Thanks. I did have a quick look on ebay but couldn't find anything. Yes I appreciate my question was probably a bit cheeky - sorry for that. I'll do some research - and understood on the 'new' vs 'unused' label. I'll open the box and see how they've faired over all these years.
