Sony & Samsung hand in marriage?

Hi, I need some advice on a blu-ray surround sound system, unfortunatly i do not have the room for a AV receiver - which sucks, however I am either looking at the new Samsung blurays OR pairing either the Sony HTI-S100 with the S550 or the Samsung BD3600. Does any one have any of the above?

I will wait for the reviews of the BD1255 from WHF... but would a combo of the HTI-S100 and a sony blu-ray OR even samsung bluray work well?

Argh so many choices!

and i never understood how you can connect a Blu-ray player to a home cinema in a box and get true-hd sound or something.
