Hi all, I've just purchased the Panasonic TH42-PX80B and am absolutely delighted with it, in particular the SD pic after an aerial upgrade! Great price for only £650 inc deliv. (with discount code AW20) from Dixon's online! (I was gonna go for the 428XD but the Panny was half the price and the pic not terribly far off in my opinion after a local demo of both). Anyway i've had my friend hook up a PS3 (40GB) via the HDMI cable but was wondering if it's possible to use it as a hard drive device that i can record to via the EPG? Neither the Panny or the PS3 manual really seem to be able to answer this question for me! Thanks in advance!

Not at the moment. However, keep an eye out for PlayTV which is coming in the next few months (apparently). It's a digital TV tuner you hook up to the PS3 via USB and this will then allow you to record Freeview programs on to the PS3's hard drive. These are then available via Remote Play from your PSP etc.
