sony or samsung for easy iplayer widget?

Im looking at the Samsung 40" c530 or Sony 40"ex430 and the deciding factor is which has a easy to use iplayer and lovefilm widget.

Scanning the web there seems to be conflicting reports on how well they perform especially the samsung. Most of the stuff i read is about 6 months old so im wondering if any users of the samsung 5 series or sony ex can give me feed back on usability issues.

I have an 8 series sammy, though I expect the iplayer widget is exactly the same - and it works fine, loads fast and control is nice and smooth.

Thanks for the assurance. I imagine the 5 series will be the same . Samsung site isnt vry informative though.

Do you use it with a dongle or usb cable?

i use the samsung wifi dongle, i dont see any difference using the dongle or ethernet - which is what you'd expect as the internet stuff only really needs around 3Mb to be smooth.

I have a Sony and both work fine, though the higher def seems to struggle (though I say this having had terrible download speeds over the last couple of days).
