Sony KDL-40Z5800: Help from SonyCentre Bods needed

Just bought, can't see any backlight issues! That's the good news! (assuming I know what I'm looking for....)

Only a few minor and connected issues:

1) Instructions stretch to the size of a large postage stamp, giving no clues regarding what the various settings do and how/why you might access them.

2) The remote will (in theory) operate other devices, eg DVD or BD, but no instructions on how to program it to do so.

3) How do you dim the illuminated "Sony" badge at the bottom of the frame?

Can anyone point me in the direction of the info?

On the remote; Home,Settings,Features, Logo illumination.

Do not forget when you are making any picture adjustments you must do so for each input i.e. tv,bdp,dvd
