Hey guys and gals!
So I'm looking around local thrift stores for an older 80s/90s CD player to throw in the hi-fi. I see the Sony CDP line EVERYWHERE I go, but I can't find anything explaining the naming scheme for them to figure out when they were made, what price range they were originally placed at, etc. I'm hoping someone could give me some help here.
There are 3 parts to the names:
1. Sony CDP-
2. CE, CX, or nothing before the numbers
3. 3 digit number
(example Sony CDP-CE275)
Is there any particular scheme to the names that could help me catagorize them without having to look each one up on my phone whenever I see one?
Thanks
