sony blu ray player on hd ready set

i recently bought sony bdp-s370 to go with 37" hd ready set (panasonic tx-p37x10)

i've not noticed much difference between watching blu rays and watching dvds on my old dvd player.

is this simply that there's not such a wow factor on hd ready sets, compared to bigger full hd sets, or am i missing something?!

I have the Sony BDP-S370 on a HD Ready 50 Inch Plasma TV and it is fantastic. There is a HUGE difference between dvd and blu-ray.

Your screen is small, that is why you don't really see an appreciable increase in quality - there is absolutely nothing wrong with your TV.

Saying that though, there are many members here who have small screens and yet can appreciate the quality that blu-ray offers. Is your TV properly calibrated?
