Trying to decide which one the SONY BDPS570 or PANASONIC DMPBD85 players 3d doesnt matter not interested any one .It will run through a Yamaha DSP -AX763 AMP and a PANASONIC TH-37PX80 PLASMA and KEF speakers many thanks.

If 3D will never matter to you, then skip both and try out the cheaper BDP-S370 (check the reviews here for both Sony models).

If you dont need multichannel analogue outputs get the 570.

If you dont need wi-fi, get the Sony 370

Looks like there wont be anything in it picture and sound quality wise.

For me the Sony network stuff like the love film and iPlayer is a big sell.

I have a Panasonic V20, and I think the Vieracast is pretty rubbish. I get the feeling it will be better supported by Sony, what with all those PS3's out there...
