sony AV receiver

Hello everyone

I'm thinking about buying sony DA-STR AV receiver and wondering which is the best model available now

I have seen very good reviews for 5400ES model but then i ve seen 6400es model but sony page says that this model is discontinued

and there is new model 5600ES coming out shortly.

So what is the best model to choose? is 6400ES better then 5400ES?

Firstly, what's your source and budget?

Secondly, any particular reason you're set on Sony? Other than its entry-level receiver - the excellent STR-DH810 at £300 - we haven't been too impressed with the 2010 models so far.

which model is entry-level?

i can pay right money if its worth - and usually if you need to pay more for quality.

but why not sony?

ideally for me if all would come from sony - i like the idea of having unified AV system.

so which sony model is best on the market currently? Is it 5400ES or 6400ES or maybe new 5600ES will be top model
