I'm on my second set of 7506s at least, and have been replacing ear pads regularly for a couple of decades at least. I've generally looked for good deals, always at amazondotcom where I've purchased the headphones as well, and usually stayed with lower cost options, always well under $10 per pair. Choices have been ok, meaning they've fit close-enough to the originals, and have mostly lasted about as long. I had never gotten a set that impressed me.
The last replacements did not fit well -the ear opening was smaller- and since October was my birthday month, I decided to try a fancier set of pads this month. Without knowing how available they are around the globe, I am posting as a public service and recommending the following set:

They are thicker than usual, feel more like the velour ones on my pair of Sennheiser 598s, definitely fit better, and after a couple of weeks I've decided that the sound reproduced is at least as great as ever, but very likely, and so-nicely, better for yours truly -though of course, fit and tastes do vary! I am ordering a second pair, at least, because one never knows how long any given product remains available or is reproduced as it was.
