Sony 46W4500 or 5500

Think I have decided to go with the 46" Sony - not prepared to spend the extra on 'Z' and the wife would kill me with a white frame! - so it looks like the W4500 or 5500.

I assume the 5500 is just the newer version? Except the 'clouding' issue, anybody any comments?

Or even other suggestions before I spend the cash?

I too am interested in this debate, have heard that the 46W4500 is the best 46 you can buy, and considering this as a replacement to my Sony 40W2000. Would love to hear more.

newer lcds from both sony and samsung are very good , maybe not way better at hd but better at sd than the w4500, which is last years model after all..
