Sony 40EX505 Turning off & restarting?

My TV has started turning off whilst on, the greenlight goes red and the the TV restarts. It all happens quite quickly but randomly, just over 12 months old now with auto-update on so I have the latest firmware.

The TV has always been plugged into a power saving socket (ByeBye Standby) which I have now unplugged to see if this is part of the problem.

I thought I would post here to see is anyone has experienced something similar ?

When i bought my Sony 46hx803 tv this happened to me in the first few weeks, it turned itself off and then back on again. I could not quite work out what happened, but on the bottom of the remote control on the Sony 46hx803 there is an on/off switch and i did wonder when i put the remote control on the sofa, roughly then same time it happened did that do it, but not 100% sure what happened.

Do you have a on/off swich on the bottom of your remote control? I then got that tv replaced because it had a mark on it, but it has not happened on the new one since.
