I have to agree with BB Gel. You really need to upgrade your amp before buying any other new tech.
Not saying right now but have a think about it. Your life will be much easier in the future with things like this.

Thanks mate. I don’t think I will be upgrading for a long, long time now but will start with a new amp.

Gel has tried various amps in the past few years but tends to prefer the sound of his Pioneer SC-LX81 so goes back to that each time.

It wasn’t much better than the Epson 7000 in the end.

That's what happens if you don't have a proper screen. If you'd had one, the Sony would have slapped the Epson seven ways from Sunday.

(In the same way my current Epson 9400 slapped my old Panasonic PTAE3000.)

Please don't take this the wrong way , but please have a good hard think before you make anymore purchases , it will save you money and hassle of returning things
