Some help and advice plz

Hi So i am looking at buying a new 40 inch tv as my tv is about 7 years old. by looking at the reveiws it looks like the Sony KDL-40W605B and Samsung UE40H6400 are the best. It doesnt look like i can buy the Sony now as they dont make it anymore so i was going to go with the Samsung UE40H6400. I was also going to add the The Q Acoustics Q-TV Speakers to it? Whats your thoughts? Thanks

The Samsung is an excellent set, although it is last year's model (not that that necessarily matters as you can get some great deals on it now).

You might also want to consider the Panasonic TX-40CX680B we've just tested which is a brand-new 2015 model and is 4K-compatible too, if that matters to you.

As for the Q Acoustics Q-TV a recent price cut makes it good value. The alternative would be a soundbar or soundbase.

Great thanks Andy. Would the Q Acoustics Q-TV2 2.1 Home Cinema System be much better than the sound from the tv as I know its an old bit of kit now?

Panasonic is out of my price range. I think i will stick with the Samsung.
