Yesterday I ordered something from Peter Tyson, whose store I’ve often pointed people to because of the vast range and great prices. It wasn’t Hifi but a ‘bean to cup’ coffee machine, something I’ve always fancied.

Will be interested to see see how it works out versus our trusty Nespresso by Krups, which is very good and much more compact. I do recycle the pods though it’s bit of a faff.

Modest as they go, but I can’t wait to try it!

They have reduced in price again:

Do you think I should refuse delivery and order again? Thanks

They are £292 now delivered. I am going to stick with the £308 delivered deal. It’s not worth the grief. Good deal for anyone else though! :)

Got them 20 mins ago and they are really good quality. Not bad at all for wireless product. Much better than the Apple AirPod Max headphones. Bass is good too. I am happy.

Wall mounted my pre Black Friday LG oled.
Missus tells me it's too high Aaaaaagh.
Ordered Vesa extension brackets, should be able bring it down a bit without redrilling more holes in the wall.

The brackets arrive next Saturday. Price of these are crazy, Amazon sells them over and above typically priced wall bracket but if you want to get out of jail, it's cough up or start drilling new holes!

Measure twice, drill once, and always ask the Mrs her opinion :)
Sound advice Doug.

A little voice in my head was saying, are you sure you have the height right? and I dismissed it right out of my head.
Asking my missus to sit on several layers of pillows didn't go down very well :ROFLMAO:

Anyway, the extension vesa brackets should allow me to reduce the height by another 6 inches, hopefully that's the sweet spot.

I just spoke to Amazon Germany about refunding me the difference in price since they reduced the headphones again, and they said to send them back free of charge and order again, so I told them where to stick that idea!

Amazon do themselves no favours at times…

Apparently their system can’t refund me the difference!

I had the same thing with Amazon a few years ago. I purchased from their buying portal, Samsung Qled 32" 240hz PC gaming monitor. It was reduced by £80 and it was the last one in stock so I grab it thinking I was getting a good deal.
Then a week later, Amazon Direct were selling the same monitor but it had been reduced further by £50 and I thought that's a real cheek.

So like you, I asked them if they can refund me the difference and they told me the seller on Amazon portal was a private vendor and the monitors selling now at a greater reduction were sold directly from Amazon Direct.

So they suggested I take it up with the original vendor or return monitor and buy from them instead.

I didn't get anywhere with the private seller because they did not have the same margins as Amazon and the seller weren't at liberty to match off the price Amazon Direct was selling. Essentially they weren't prepared to make a loss on the sale.

I understood and sympathised but wasn't happy with Amazon Direct because I felt they could have done more for the customer. If I hadn't sold my old monitor on eBay I probably would have returned it back to the seller.

I have gone back to Amazon Germany again because the UK page states any price reductions over Black Friday they will refund the difference. So I contacted them again and they said no I will have to send them back and order again and they can’t do it. So I said why not? They said give me a minute and went away again and then come back with the refund! 😀. Common sense prevails at last.
