so you connect what to what? Sony 820, mission m cubes, panna 42 81b

Need some seriously dumb advice from my fellow experienced what hifiers.

Just bought a sweet 42inch panny 81b,

about to buy sony 820 amp an mission mc ubes

can someone tell me EXACTLY how to hook these up;

I'm guessing 1) a hdmi from ps3 to sony amp INPUT no. 1 (sat in)

2) another hdmi from tv to sony amp INPUT no.2 (dvd in)

then what??? sorry this is the dumbest question ever but i really don't want to go

blowing up rubbish

What other devices do you have ie sat tv etc??

Basically, if your PS3 is going to be your blu ray player as well then this should be connected to the amp via HDMI 1

The amp HDMI OUT should be connected to the TV and going into HDMI 1 (assuming you are using the onboard tuners / freesat) or HDMI 2 if you have an external Sky / Virgin connection.

If you have Sky / Virgin these should be connected to HDMI 2 on the TV and an optical lead going to your amp to provide surround when you want it.
