hi

I have a budget of £600 to buy a 40 inch tv,It has too have at least 3xhdmi and a network port and a decent refresh rate as I watch a lot of action movies and motorsport.I have only looked online so far and like the look of the sony 40w705 and panasonic 40cx700 both have what I am looking for but would I be better off with the cheaper sony or is it worth getting the 4k panasonic with its 800hz refresh rate

Nowadays I would go 4K every time. I wouldn't buy a new 1080p setany more that I would have bought a black and white one over a colour one thirty years ago.

Virtually all 4K TVs are "smart" and have wired and / or wireless connectivity.

4K broadcasting is growing and you can buy relatively inexpensive Blu-Ray players that will upscale to 4K if the TV doesn't do it itself.
