Small university set up - Fatman iTube with Monitor Audio BR2 speakers ? what do we think

I demand good sound wherever i go however whilst at uni i cant take my arcam and MA setup with me, Therefore i need a "temp" setup was thinking of the Fatman iTube with some Monitor Audio BR2's. This is only a first idea, what do people think, or does anyone have any alternatives. Whilst at uni my main source will be my iPod just to keep it simple. Fire away with your ideas please... all help appriciated

i run the fatman carbon with br1s in my kitchen and its a great little setup and goes plenty loud - the B&W Zep is also a good option

My office setup is the Mac to CA DacMagic to Fatman Carbon v2 into MA RS1 and I love the way it sounds - its plenty load enough and good enough that the music draws my attention away from what I'm doing at the compute often. Now, I don't want to over sell it, my office setup isn't in the same league as my living room Naim Nait XS/Benchmark DAC/MA RS6 (soon to be replaced with I'm leaning towards Spendor A5). I think the Fatman MA setup would be perfect for what you are talking about, I love mine. I did look at the MA BR2 as well and they too are great but I found the RS1 a little easier to drive with the Fatman and importantly there was very little price difference when I bought mine. Either would be great and certainly go load enough, my only qualifier would be that the Carbon/MA is good enough to highlight the differences between using my iPod and feeding an optical connection into the DacMagic.
