Is it me or is surfing this site like wading through treacle since last night's update?

Even on just this occasion, it's taken me five minutes to log in and get as far as typing this.

Not any slower than usual, and we certainly haven't changed anything fundamental on the site – just added extra content. Lots of it.

Could be because the site is currently experiencing something of an upswing in traffic, what with the Awards and the Manc show an' all...

It's working well this morning at the Manchester Show, and that's using the hotel wi-fi.
