Hi,

I am asking this on behalf of a friend.

He has one of the older Sky boxes which bought from Sky as a one-off buy (no subscription). He wants know if he buys a second hand Sky + box, will he be able record those free channels without having to get subscription whilst if he uses his current card?

Hope this makes sense.

Thanks

Thanks Dave for the prompt response, I take it they disable the recording via the card?

You work for Sky don't you?

No not directly.I run a small independent Aerial and Satellite business. But i/we do installation's on Sky's behalf as Sub-contractor's amongst other thing's!
