Site problems over the past few days.

I can't remember now JD. There is something out of the ordinary going on with this site and Whatcar? though. I have never had the same disappearing trick occur with any other page or site on t'internet.

Ah, it's just come to me. It was a site with a name linked to Andrew's other work role -Gramophone, but gramophone.net, not gramophone.co.uk, .com or -magazine.co.uk

I've just tried gramophone.net again and get the same result, i.e. every page completes loading, then goes blank.

2nd edit: I just tried gramophone.co.uk to make sure and now that site goes blank too.

All four sites working fine for me in Firefox, Chrome, Opera and IE5.2.3 for OSX.

Well I started off with gramophone.net on IE6, Opera, Safari, Firefox and Chrome for Win, and it works OK.

I primarily use Safari but it makes no difference which browser I use on my Mac. Weird isn't it? My thoughts now are if it was my ISP (Virgin) not liking the sites and blocking them, I wouldn't be able to access them on this PC, which is on the same network via a wireless adapter. Now I'm wondering if I should try creating a new membership on this site with a different username (but obviously it will be the same email address and IP address) because something may have been stored re my Mac's ID from when I was (the B word -don't intend to discuss it here) and then reinstated. Probably utter nonsense I'm talking but worth a try?

I have given up with Chrome. All it will let me do is post messages. IE8 is better, but it is slow and I often have to preview first to get a reply to post.

Don't like IE8. Try Firefox and Opera. I won't say try Safari because basically it's Chrome...

I'm still having problems with the home page loading,and no amount of refreshing,cache clearing etc works. I'm running FF version 3.5.7 if that's any help.
