Should wireless router be kept away from system?

I'm looking in to a new equipment stand, and for reasons of convenience it would be preferable to put the wireless router on the stand as well (it's currently on the other side of the room). I already have my Sonos ZP90 a couple of inches to the left of my amp, and I guess that is outputting the same sort of wireless signal too.

Does any know or have experience of whether this is OK, or potentially detrimental to system performance?

The Sonos system has its own 'mesh network' which does not interfere with the wi-fi signal. My ZoneBridge is kept next to the router. No probs.

Thanks for the reply BB, but I was thinking more about the effect that the wireless output of the wireless router or the Sonos would have on the rest of my system.

Cheers,

Dan.
