should my speakers sound this dull and flat?

How have you positioned the speakers?

Are they on stands about ear level?

Thanks , i have three stands. 2 wooden i made. One metal stand.. I have tried any place you can imagin...!!!! For more than 8 months.... !!!! There is always a gin gin sound instead of bass...that is really unpleasent and the rest of the music is ironic sounds flat without musicality...

Yes of course, Let me describe the sound I hear , I think its the room and bad bass :

There is a bad bass (i call it) sounds like GIN GIN that never ends from the begining of the sound till the end, it makes every instruments and vocals to be hollow and hiden back of this sound and i cant focus on any instrument or the singer and is very unpleasent. I think that is the couse of problem.

sounds can not seperate from each other and that Gin Gin is always in my ear.

I feel that everything is ok but this bad bass destroys the music...!!!

I really appreciate your help.

sorry , I tried to give an idea of that sound, I think because the bass in not firm and tight it sounds like that , maybe it is reflection of bass, How can I send you an image of my room?

Seems you have had those speakers for 2 years now with mixed results, those speakers do not lack bass in some of your previous rooms, in fact you were saying there was too much in the bedroom. I would say its the room so you should consider some room treatment.

I Agree with you , but there is no bass trap i could get here, so only room furnitures is possible for me like bed, sofa, flowers , etc. i dont know if these could help?!

Well it's difficult to understand you because before you said " In bedroom bass is too much " now you are saying there is no bass.

Are you still sitting on the floor to listen, are the speakers on low stands?

Sorry. You are right. It s because i learn gradually. Yes. If i could show you a pic you may understand me. To shorten: 3 sets of speakers denon mini, dali zensor 3, q acoustics 3020, problem is always bad bass instead of notes, there is hollow extending hum hum and gin gin and the rest of music is blured i cant stand a song!!! Because i live in a small town nobody knows hifi here and the nearest shop is 12 hours drive... I bought these based on whathifi reviews ... I havent heard any hifi before but with pc speakers i loved music for more than 20 years... Also last year i moved to my own apartment and since then i am trying to get listenable sound at least. Sorry i took your time. Thanks a lot. I really appreciate your kind help.

OK yes I can see them. I think the positioning and the room is a problem. ALso the radiator and window behind probably are not helping. Have you tried them on the other wall firing across the room. Generally I would say the same distance apart from where you are sitting. So 2m apart with you 2 m away. Try to bring away from wall 0.25m or more and away from corners as well. Also try angling the speakers in towards you rather than just straight ahead, can make a difference with some speakers. Height have same height as your head. Other things that may help are thick curtains. Think some room treatment would be possible.

How does the room sound, if you clap yor hands?

Thank you, yes i have tried every possible location and combination, before bookshelvs and pictures on wall after hand clap there was a clear ringing sound after them it is reduced but still there is some ringing... Next step would be a thick curtain covering the whole back wall as well as radiator...

Thick curtains may help but from your images none all your speakers look well set up and you seem to be sitting over on the left, having the speakers either side of the corner may work better although its an unusual set up. You really need to sit in the sweet spot with many speakers, maybe this is part of your problem? The Dalis being bigger should give you bass. Nearer the wall/corners will increase bass.

After i moved to this room ( it is smaller)

Clearly Bass is worse and the clarity and musicality is gone,

At least I had some musicality and with dalis really nice treble I experienced... But I have never had a full soundstage and a room filling sound there too ... only for example guitar or violin in the songs sounded very very good... but some parts of music was wrong there too...!!!
