Should I?

I've decided not to go for the maple Roksan as I'm not keen enough on the looks.

I do fancy a Clearaudio Emotion with an Audio Technica AT-OC9ML/II cartridge for £799. That looks a decent price. Do you think I should ask for a dust cover and interconnects to be thrown in too?

Clearaudio make fine turntables I'd do really like them myself and I believe Clare has a Clearaudio Performance. Audio Technica make some excellent cartridges also. Yes should try and haggle a bit. No harm in it especially since Clearaudio accessories are expensive. But I'd check the interconnects aren't already included or if the tonearm is wired with an external cable already.

Well indeed. And yes, i do have a Clearaudio Performance. I was just demo-ing the Radius - which was very lovely, but then I heard the Performance again....and it's bloomin' marvellous.

I wouldn't let my lovely retro Revox hear this, but the Clearaudio deck is probably the item in my system that is the best combination of form and function - it has the 'wow' factor in terms of looks and sound that's hard to beat.

Well Analogue Secuction will give me the Clearaudio Emotion package for £749 and will include the dustcover free. Also free postage and eBay now doing a 15% discount when you buy with Paypal. think I may just go for this.

It needs interconnects, would Chord Crimson do this justice or should I go for something else?

I buy most of my accessories from Analogue Seduction. Gary is a good guy to deal with. Once you've got your turntable I'll post a nice long list of accessories I would recommend.
