Hi ,

i have a sharp 46" lcd that i have had for 2 weeks that has gone wrong already ?

they are going to bring me a new one to day to replace the old / new one .

the problem i have is i am looking to replace it with a samsung 46" LE46F86BD.

i don't know to much about lcd t.v.s so was looking for some advice on what to do

should i keep the sharp as its the better lcd or would the samsung be a better choice . also i use a ps3 and found with the sharp i can't use the console on 1080p/60Hz . it only has 1080i /60Hz .is the samsung the same ?

hope this makes sense . thanks

simon

Hi Simon,

First a slap on the wrist for not buying the mag and finding out within seconds (via the Buyer's Guide) that Sharp hasn't managed above a three-star rating for its 46in LCDs.

But seriously, that Samsung LE46F86 is superb - won our Supertest in the January issue, where it was up against very strong competition from Sony, Toshiba, Philips and others. Swap to the Samsung - it'll be an excellent partner for your PS3.
