sharp lcds?

i was set to buy the panasonic px80 but a cousin of mine today told me he can get 40%+a 5yr warranty off from sharp

is there any that compare to the panasonic performance wise?

i have a budget of 700 max thats after the 40%is deducted, any advice or opinions would be excellent

if you read many of the reviews on this site then i think all will become clear. I think you will see that the sharp sets fall a bit short in comparison to the likes of phillips and sony sets. You can get a top tv for 700 quid. The panasoniz pz80 is a great example!

Yep - every Sharp set ÿwe've seen recently has merely been average in comparison to the best TVs (for value as well as performance).
