SETTINGS FOR SONY BDP-S350 AND DENON AVR-2309?

Hi, does anybody have this combination set up to thier true expectation, ie: getting the most from the HD codec's DTS HD MA, TRUEHD etc, etc...

I've been tinkering for about a week now with no blue light success, all feadback welcome.

Are you saying that your amp isn't playing HD sound formats? ÿIf that's the case, the most likely reason is that your blu-ray player's BD Audio Setting needs to be ÿ'Direct'.

see my reply on a similar thread . I have the 2309 and pana 35. With that it has to do with commanding the bd to output the hi def format which it doesn't do automatically. I guess there will be an equivalent control and command structure for the sony. But read my response and the others there and you'll have the full picture and sound !!
