Now that attic conversion is complete im setting up my old HiFi gear: Rega Planar2, Marantz CD42MKII, and NAD 314 Amp, with some A/V stuff: 32"LCD, PS3 and Onkyo 605.
I've ran into a problem as the rack is in an alcove and although its wide 48" its small in height 28". So ive got the TV and the Rega on top, Onkyo and PS3 on 2nd and 3rd shelf under the tv, and then i got Tannoy 621 Centre Speaker and only room for Marantz/NAD
Theres not enough height to place 2 pieces of equiptment on top of each other, so something has to give?
The Tannoy Centre is a big speaker and wont go under the tv, its also paired with Tanoy 603's so ideally id want to hold onto that.
The Marantz could go and use the PS3 for CD duties, however i think the CD42MKII may be better? Although ive only got approx 50 vinyl the thoughts of playing them again is something i really want to experience..........
Any thoughts or ideas of possible solutions-appreciated
