Just checked and as of this post the HD650s are £180 and the HD600s are £250. I collect vintage AKGs, so thanks for the shout JD, but I am fine for the time being!

I missed the HD650's at £165 before christmas last year and I have been watching them ever since to drop below £200 again, check play most mondays and fridays as thats when they seem to do these deals and what do they do? do it mid week, looks like I will be waiting another six months then 🙁

I was willing to pay the £219 price, but it got adjusted after the checkout. Maybe worth you purchasing, see if the reduction to £179 kicks in and if not cancel and try again at another time. They are really worth the outlay. Even at £219

Both the HD650's and HD600's are sold out on play and will be for afew months yet I imagine. I want a hight impedance headphone like the senns to go with my grado rs2i's and denon d2000's, so no rush for them just want to get a good price on them.

Bought mine for about £170 about 10 years ago. Astonishingly good headphones but you will need a headphone amp to hear them at their best.
