Hi all. Anyone know of a for sale web site or forum in the UK where I can advertise used hi-fi? I don't trade on ebay and so have no seller reputation. Cheers.

For free: Audiophile Candy (hi-fi for sale) which recently reopened again I think? Gumtree, Hi Fi World magazine free ads (think you can submit these online for HFW).

Also, a number of dealers will sell used kit, but you take the hit on the rate offered against what you'd make on a private sale.

I've bought most of my system via cyrus unofficial site but I get the best prices selling on ebay. I built up my rating buying cables, cameras and crampons before I sold anything.

Ebay is a route of all evil so i can understand why many don't like to use it now a day.

Many big hifi shops can help you, obviously with fees ranging from 5% to 20%.

Andrew Everard:You only get good ratings if you buy things beginning with C???

You're getting quite funny in your old age.

Thank you, and don't worry - it'll come to you too at some point in the future...
