Second Room Home Cinema Help

Hi

I want a all in one system for a second room and was going to spend about £300, is the Samsung HTX715T any good as i have seen it for £279 if not any suggestions of a good 5.1 system?

How big is the room? Don't know about that Samsung box but the Sony DAV-IS10 system is available from Amazon at not much more than that and is a cracking 5.1 system as long as your room isn't too big. If you don't need the DVD player, than have a look for the Sony HT-IS100 system which is basically the same but without the DVD player and also has the ability to accept LPCM through its HDMI for decoded HD audio from a Blu-Ray player.

The room is about 12 foot by 12 foot, i will look into the Sony does it struggle in larger rooms then? Need the DVD player also would like to hook up the xbox 360 to the surround sound, is that possible on the DAV-IS10? I am using a Samsung R78 32 inch TV.

I'm pretty sure the Sony will be fine in a room that size. You can also hook your Xbox 360 up using the optical in so this will be okay as well.
