Second hand US M&K MX350

Is there any reason why I shouldn't buy a US voltage MX350 MKII (with
step down) for £750.

Are there any issues using a US sub over here?

I've never felt at ease using an extra power supply over and above the one built into a unit. We're talking delicate audio signals here which can be corrupted easily. Many manufacturers take a lot of time and effort getting the power supply right, and I think adding a step up or step down transformer is defeating this point.
